My Dogs
Michelle is my current working guide dog. She was trained by Debbie and Andrew Gower and puppy walked by Vivien and Bruce Baker. They all did a great job as she is a special girl! She is beautifully behaved with a gentle nature. She is working nicely and is keen to please and loves finding things for me, such as Marks & Spencer! I am so lucky to have her.

My guide dog Page was named after Jimmy Page, the guitarist, by her sponsor. She is a black labrador/retriever cross. She was born on 25 July, 2010. I started training with her on 19th March, 2012. She was trained by Katie Gaskell and is a brilliant worker. We qualified on 5th April, 2012. She is lots of fun and still very puppy-like when not working. She takes her work very seriously but when she is at home, she lets off steam and chews every shoe, sock or phone charger she can get hold of!!! In short, she is gorgeous! Many thanks go to Carol Haynes who puppy walked her!
Amy was my 3rd guide dog. She was born in Scotland on 21st July, 2001. Amy is a flat-coated retriever which is quite unusual for a guide dog. Her Father is Hawk, a working gundog, and her Mother is Teresa. They have had several litters together. Amy was trained at Forfar and then in Nottingham. Her advanced training was done by Kate, and how well she trained Amy! Amy is the best working dog I have had, caring, cautious and responsible. At home, she's fun and noisy, barking loud (in a Scottish accent) and often!! She loves to play with her many toys and run with her friends in the local park.

Avril was my first guide dog. She was a black labrador. Avril was always happy. She was a wonderful working dog. Avril and I learned together how to work as guide dog and owner. Avril lived with me in London. Deryck, also from London, loved Avril as well.
